Assistant Safety Coordinator

Central Rent-A-Crane, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Safety Coordinator to assist in the administration of the Environmental, Health and Safety requirements for the company’s facilities located in Indiana. This is a project-term position.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Company’s Safety Coordinator in the supervision of the its Environmental, Health and Safety requirements in a construction environment focused on crane and aerial lift equipment
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company Safety Programs and clients’ requirements
• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor and assess the execution of the Safety Program
• Provide guidance/training to company personnel on Occupational Safety & Health issues
• Investigate and review all occupational injuries and incidents/accidents
Requirements:
• 3+ years of Construction Safety management, including understanding of Hazard Safety Analysis, Fall Protection, and PPE requirements
• Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, federal, state and local laws
• Good communication skills
• Ability to enforce laws and policies
• Computer-literate
• Ability to travel up to 30% of time

Key Responsibilities:
• Obtaining and submitting orders
• Coordinating sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers
• Communicating with management by submitting activity and results reports on a regular basis
• Analyzing current marketplace information on pricing, available products, marketing and merchandising techniques, etc.
